I could have sworn that I read somewhere (Freepress?) that he had gone under the knife again and would miss the rest of the season.

Not there to play I would have thought, just a chance for him to go to a match with the team. Great for him to feel involved at last.

I'm not so sure on that idea, why waste a place on the bench just to get him in a strip? Maybe he will come on for 3/4 minutes at the end.

Deffo not Brooker - it's Roberts. Same as mid-week + Roberts. Useless Rovers Player.

Fingers crossed for the fella. What with the injuries to Roberts and Woods not being as bad as first feared things may be looking brighter on the injury front, unless you happen to be a centre back of course :S

Easy mistake for the slack journo's to make, they look similar, play in the same position, names are nearly the same :silly: bit of excitment comes to nothing, what a let down

I'm like the young bull in a field with the older bull.

Young bull \"Dad, look at all those cows down there, there's one sexy little bugger who i've got my eye on and i'm gonna run down there and f**k her right on the spot\"

Older bull \"Son,there's no need to rush, i'm gonna walk down this hill and f**k em all\"

Brooker never got off the team bus. That might mean he was never on it.

There was one lad though who got off about 2nd or 3rd. Never seen him before. Does anyone know if we have somebody trialling with us?

I was asking some Cheltenham fans today what they thought of Brooker - seeing as I spent the afternoon at Whaddon Road like. They were unanimous: bloody good player indeed. Mind you, going by the standard of what I watched this afternoon, I reckon the Esdailles would be quite impressive. Did we all really used to get excited by football like that? Ye Gods. Just how far have we come?! Hoof it high. Hoof it long. Hoof it, well, try to and miss. Pass it in the air. Pass it in the air. Pass it in the air. Repeat ad nauseam. I saw one decent passing movement all match. We've all been spoiled. Just how are we going to cope when this lovely bubble bursts?

Cheers

BobG
