SWINDON Town are contemplating a move for Stockport captain Johnny Mullins to bolster their push for League One promotion.

The 24-year-old full-back, who played in the Hatters' 4-1 defeat at the County Ground on Tuesday, was reported to be interesting Championship sides Doncaster and Plymouth during the January transfer window.

But no move materialised and it is believed that Town have made contact with Stockport about their ex-Reading and Mansfield man.
