I think we can forget any movement by the club on the season ticket matter.
They have produced a nice glossy 6 page pdf file detailing the ins and outs of why they have done it, with part of the space dedicated to JR promoting his book and his cloud cuckoo free season ticket offer.

This is by no means a solution for all season ticket holders, especially if you have a dodgy credit rating, but if you follow this link (hopefully it'll work) there are ways of spreading out the cost. Just remember to cancel the card once it's paid off!

I dont think increasing prices is the way to go John but your a better business man than me so good luck with your venture. This time next season when the gates are hovering around 7000 i hope you dont pull funny faces when the attendances are announced.

Ive heard today a fair few councils are laying people off because they darent increase the council tax and have to make cuts. Is football the only business in the current climate where prices are going up ?

Spoke to someone I know today (who will remain nameless).
DRFC's main sponsorship deal with Wright ends at the end of this season and apparently, we've had no interest from any other companies regarding taking over this sponsorship, and the hike in ticket prices is to go towards plugging this gap.

Take it with a pinch of salt if you like.
Doesn anyone know what the current sponsorship deal is worth?
