I find it crazy , you can go and get a phone from the shops for say £35 per month and get a free phone and be happy with all its free mins etc etc but then rovers mobile site gives you the same and a free season ticket and still a moan . Yes if you dont need a new phone then fair enough but to yet again be negative about something that is again another thing that the club wanted to do to help especially in these times. People are changing their mobiles all the time so to get nothing with it or a free rovers season ticket is not a bad offer you know surely even in your book

You could be getting something for free and you'd still probably moan, try being positive for a change. If it's not the airport closing, Rovers getting relegated, having no season ticket holders it's overpriced phones, are you ever happy?

Its being realistic not negative. A big difference.
I am quite surprised on how relaxed Gartom has took this, the club AND john Ryan have had a total disregard for anything he has said. The ideas he put forward last year obviousley caused a stir and thats why he wasnt even involved in the process.Apoligiseing is a very easy way out after the event but his input was not required and to be honest Mr Ryan obiousley is not interested one iota in the deposit scheme as that was on the table last year..Is anyone actually trying to tell me that over the many meetings that this course of action was decided not once didnt someone say \"what about the vsc\".Gartom and the vsc were deliberetley left out. The VSC has been made to look a irrelevent after thought by the club, who now see it as a vehicle to push forward the next new marketing idea wether it be lottery or the building society account.Any ideas the vsc has itself are frankly unwanted. I find it interesting that in Gartoms update he goes on about the bloody building society account, nothing to do with helping the season ticket issue, however to be fair id bet a few quid that JR soon steered him off the s/t debate and encouraged him to mention it again. I will obviousley get the abuse from some members but the above is exactley why i didnt renew my membership, the club think they have outgrown it... Whilst when it comes to the team my glass will always be full , when it comes to how this club is run off the field my glass is empty. From marketing through to dros and pr this club always has been a shambles...
and even more now given that letters still have nt gone out - as far as I'm aware??
RE Wing Commander comments.....I am anything but relaxed mate! I had a real moan session with JR, told him I felt badly let down, but then asked how we were going to progress this / dig ourselves out of the hole....I am still plugging for the 3 month deposit scheme - and even more now given that letters still have nt gone out - as far as I'm aware??Its poor planning, I've told em so and want them to sort it. The Leeds B.Soc was an afterthought from me - we ought to encourage folk to save....but its low priority at the mo. I'm still unhappy!...but want to get something sorted. Watch this space....Cheers, Gareth

Have you seen the thread on our marketing department......if so you will take back your comment and realise all forms of communications are being utilised.
Which reminds me bobjim....we need to think about the VSC version of 'carrier pigeon' seeing as our web hosting is not easily adapted to mass VSC email messages.....any thoughts ?Cheers, Gareth

People are not going to kiss goodbye to £100-£150 are they. It`s a difficult economic climate we are in here, surely a compromise can be reached for the good of the club and it`s supporters, it`s clearly not the price increase thats the problem, so lets see some movement DRFC!

Well the poll we are running suggests otherwise - its mainly the time issue. I think most folk appreciate a price rise is needed to help JR & the board do things for next season.Lets see what happens today after my rant n rave.....
