England better win the world cup this year...

because the next stream of English talent can't string two passes together.

Been tonight to the U21 game and, well there's obvious talent there and they play the game at a higher tempo than we see in the Championship but dear me.. they were awful!!!
I kid you not, I'm not getting carried away here but it just puts into perspective how spoiled we are to see the exquisite passing we're served up by the Rovers.

Ok it's the under 21 side, but come on, it was full of familiar names from the prem so we shouldn't be cutting them too much slack.

I agree, we have to judge a team of young footballers on one performance!!!!!!

Give them a chance luv!!!!

I think a national development job would suit SOD down to the ground (not that I'd want him to leave Rovers to do it of course!).

Maybe at an earlier age than U21 though - ie when they are still earlier/more receptive in the learning curve and when it could be argued performance is more important than the results.

After that performance I am most surprised. It's like they had all fallen out and refused to pass or move for each other. Christ we moan at the lack of support our strikers get. It wasn't until Sturridge and Delfenaiso (sp)came on, that I actually saw another player in their half.

Psycho is a national treasure, but he got it woefully wrong tactically.

I like Nathan Delfounseo, would be a good loan signing until the end of the season say.
