iPhone Advice
« on March 06, 2010, 01:20:52 am by Mike_F »
I've just got myself the iPhone 3GS today and I'm having trouble with the bluetooth connectivity. Does anyone know if this is a common problem with iPhones or am I doing something wrong (I've turned bluetooth on but I can't find how to change the name of my phone and I can't discover it with other devices).

Also If anyone knows of any poker games or the like that I can play for real money I'd appreciate it - there are plenty of apps for pretend money but it's no fun!

Cheers.

You change your phones name in itunes, as for bluetooth connectivity, it will not find other phones apart from iphones, the bluetooth facility only finds those bluetooth earpiece thingys

Sif, you sarcastic mutha it doesn't even come with a f**king manual! I've never known the like of it.

Cheers for the info Filo. I suppose I need to import my old \"Rovers til I die\" recording into iTunes then copy it over to my iPhone to set it as my ringtone if I can't Bluetooth it over from my old phone. What a palava!

Mike,  There is a book I had to buy about the Iphone called, \"Iphone - The Missing Manual\".  It's the only way I learned how to use it properly.  And yes, unbelievable that a manual was not included!

Hope this helps.
