Sometimes life has it's ups

Like today

A tough last few months for a number of reasons and coming out significantly stronger on the other side

Walked down the corridor at work to the coffee machine and past a room I had never bothered to go in to before  - but I had noticed a Bristol City scarf hanging proudly on the wall - and don't forget this is in deepest Dutch territory......

So in I goes .... 'whose is that?' says I

Young lad - 25 years younger than me for sure. To his total and complete astonishment I offered the commiserations of a lifelong Donny fan - you should have seen his face (I think beforehand he actually thought I was Dutch)

Three coffees and a new friend and colleague later - he was very appreciative of Rovers and actually worried BCFC might be relegated

Thank you Rovers - your achievements are known and appreciated way beyond the borders of the People's Republic of South Yorkshire
