I like the lad, was sad to see him go, but i cringed at the Greeny chants from our own fans, he chose to leave, rightly or wrongly he aint a Donny player anymore, far from it.QuoteI think the chants were more the fact he was with us all the way for ten loyal years. Everybody likes to think the Grass is always greener, and it probably is compared to our pitch ;-) but like you say I would have him back in a flash.I think it was more down to SOD not showing his hand and faith in Green too early.

This club is still his first love and its a pity that Paul Green didn't mean to Doncaster Rovers what Doncaster Rovers meant to Paul Green!

John Ryan said (at the VSC AGM) that he never thought Paul would leave and it could have been handled better.I think it's time to cut him free, it's time we gave him both barrels (metaphorically sp)
