Sorry SS, It just gets on my tits when people get on players backs and make posts about players based on the 1-2 performances they have seen and think that somehow it justifies their opinions on how players have performed in matches they haven't even seen. Everyone who has seen JET play every match knows how his all around performance was superb at Bristol, so to say he has \"never\" had one good game for us is nonsense. Everyone knows he needs to work on what to do when we don't have possesion, the management team have even said this in the media. When this got pointed out to RedRockets he then resorted to having digs at me, so i called him out to say those things to my face to which he bottled it had the nerve to tell me to grow up.
He's only been posting since saturday so he's either:
1. An regular poster using another name to act as a WUM
2. A keyboard warrior who doesnt like being shown as wrong in a post so reverts to digs at people until he gets called out.

One thing for certain, he isn't a supporter. Supporters back their team and players, and any supporter that have seen him play every match wouldn't come out with comments like:

Quote
\"He done nothing in the short while he's been with us. Was good in short burst versus Derby but thats about it. Doesn't deserve a place of Shiels or Mutch, or Sam Hird for that matter. Needs to learn how to become a team player before he deserves a starting place...and a few running lessons wouldn't go a miss\"

When i pointed out he was wrong because if he had seen him in every match then he would know he has played well, all i got was:

Quote
\"When has he had a good game?
Might have scored some but its the other 9 outfield players who do all the work for him.
We need ten committed outfield players, not 9 and a lazy git.
Get your specs on and watch the game will you!

Like i said a WUM or just a keyboard warrior who goes to the odd game because he certainly hasn't based his opinions on every match JET has played for the club.

Well i am going to get splinters in my jacksy by sitting on the fence on this one.JET had a bad game saturday,i think most people accept that.I think the problem is over the years we have had to watch a certain level of player who has limited ability who makes it up with work rate and thats sort of what we come to expect.
When we have a superior technical player who is having a bad day it makes him look even worse as the workrate doesnt disguise it but thats part of his development...
However that said i WOULD drop him for tuesday,he was out on his feet after half time saturday and all these matches close to each other have been too much for him,and to get anything tuesday we need 11 out there,we cant carry him like saturday.

I thought \"naive\" (as posted by someone else) summed up his performance on Saturday. But you are going to get that with 19 year olds. The guy has a lot of talent and that needs to be nurtured. SO'D is the right man to do that, but if we are going to attract talented young players (who are not the finished article) we (as fans) are going to have to be a bit more patient.

Like Wing Commander, I expect that he will be used from the bench on Tuesday and will be the one to give way to BS in the starting XI. Could be a very handy impact sub if used right in a big game.

FFS u miserable fcukers, he's a 19 year old kid who's had 1 bad game, get off the lads back. I bet you we're all fcuking drooling when he hit what turned out to be the winner against Derby, and with his performance and goals at Ashton gate (thats if any of you went). I bet you're the same lot that boo lewis.

Having read back through both topics you can see that it was you who cast the first stone at our forum members. The majority of posters on here said he had a poor game on the other thread started by myself on his poor showing on Saturday.
We all know what he is capable of and where he's been learning his trade. What we want is consistancy and that's why he's with us and not in the starting XI at Arsenal. With games he should improve.

This is a forum of fans / supporters who voice their opinions. Not all are valid and not all are worth reading but bloody hell SR.... keep taking the tablets.
Remember....it's only a game. Win, lose or draw there will always be someone unhappy.

woaw there reverend, I wasn't having a go at any one person. It was a general tounge in cheek statement to everyone because they we're bloody moaning and acting like we had lost. RedRockets then decided to react to it spouting crap and getting personal with me. It's all so easy to hide behind a PC and say things to others, at least i would have the balls to say it to someones face unlike him.
