Wrong again as that statement isn't saying i know better than you, what it says is the facts and our managers selection speak volumes against your opinions. Try and twist this one as well VJ as you try to wiggle out of your hole.
It shows that SOD sees the game differently to what I do. That's what it shows.

If its a toss up between you and hime for a view on football and a footballer's worth I think I know who's opinion I'd seek first, and who's opinion I'd seek last. Incidently... its SOD first, and SOD last
Goodnight VJ, you are a true Donny supporter!
Lets look at the midfield, where is Stock injured and has been for three quarters of the season, he has been missed. Gillett could not afford him, he played well when here. So we play Wilson who has good and bad games like all the others in midfield, easy target for supporters to pick on. If the club could afford better he would not be in the side. Was he worst than Butt or Guthrie no. Was he worst than the ineffective Woods, note playing with an injury and it shows, or the one trick pony Shiels no. These midfield players have got us were we are, individually they are punching above their weight but most of the time has a unit they play well. We missed the guile of Copps last night, only when he plays at his best. Our most consistent midfield player lately is Oster yet he can play the odd bad pass. These are the players we have, the board cannot afford better. Lets hope they have more good games than bad. Will we see Stock again, at his best, this season I doubt it. So its either Wilson or Hird for that role and Wilson is the better player.

Nonsense. It's a typical pro-Wilson view to make out that people pick on him for the fun of doing it. Not the case. I just genuinely don't think that he is good enough, based on the evidence of watching the guy play for Rovers for the past 3 and a half years. Mind you, it is quite an easy way of defending him isn't it; making out that everybody picks on him for the sake of it rather than actually providing an argument as to why he IS good enough to play in a Championship midfield.

Anyone who can suggest that John Buckley doesn't amount to anything has already lost the debate. The ignorance that that comment displays is astounding. Rather undermines the rest of his points. As does the selective vision actually as well. Picking on one player without mentioning the weaknesses of others is simply personal and vindictive. And that, my friends, is QED for that particular poster.CheersBobG
