Would a loan signing be a wise investment? Or would SOD put square pegs in round holes or even give a couple of youngsters a go for the sake of 7 games?Wonder if this is the last we'll see of Spicer? Could be argued he hasn't really kicked on after last year but then he started the season in a deeper role before Oster established himself and never really got chance to play his more advanced role as Shiels started the season so well. Certainly played a big part in last seasons great run though.

I'd sooner have Spicer as back-up than Mutch tbh.
Doncaster Rovers midfielder John Spicer has joined League One Leyton Orient on a one-month loan deal.He is already named in the starting line-up for play-off hopefuls Rovers' trip to Brentford on Saturday.
