I don't think it's entirely true that Sean hasn't been backed.

He was certainly backed in L1 after seeing what it was all about.

Granted, we lost a few prize assets last summer. I suppose that is a form of not being backed.

We have brought in names like Martis, Oster, Deano plus a few others. We have also brought in via the loan market, but still a cost involved, Billy, Shack, JET, Ward.

I think we are going in the right direction for the higher echelons of the CCC world. If you look at the 7 names above...it shows you the type of player that is now coming in/needed and hopefully where we are going.

i suppose it is a sign of progress that we concentrate on the players coming in rather than those going out

i think we will have an overall smaller squad than last year but more quality and that is going to be how we get \"bigger\" stars in  by fewer but higher wages

i am glad that ward is getting mentioned i would like to see him here at DRFC not only a top class centre half but able to sit in front of the back four in  a holding role   another versatile player
