Fulham in a European final

It's not so long ago Rovers were beating them at home in the fourth division and now look. Yes Fayed has put money in but not astronomic amounts. This story really has been built on similar principles to the Rovers success. There must be two or three thousand long in the tooth Fulham fans who are wondering if they're going to wake up to find it was all a dream this morning.

I thought stories like this had ended with the likes of Ipswich Town and Forest in the 80s. It's a fantastic achievement.

I really hope they go and win the damn thing now.

Here bloody here. Excellent tale here on where they have come from and how they are doing it now. One in the face to all the big spending clubs. And agreed Fayed has not bank-rolled this club in the Premiership. Their team is in the main full of rejects from clubs, below or around them.

Excellent work from Roy, I bet Blackburn are regretting the day they let him go.

Well done Fulham and I would hope/expect other than Chelsea, all the nation is behind you.

With Liverpool 1-0 down last night, I was going to watch them and see if they could mount the comeback...but i'm glad I stayed with Fulham. It would be truly wonderful if they could now bring the trophy home. I'll be watching on the 12th.

Also, what price for Hodgson to be the next England manager, when Fabio decideds his work is done as we bring home the World Cup

...........which inevitably leads on to who would take over at Fulham. Perhaps a quiet man who gets on with the job, who works well with a benevolent owner? or maybe someone who can make average players play beyond the sum of their individual talents? or maybe they will just go for an ex-player?

rember playing football against their supporters club when they were in fincial meltdown  on a Tuesaday afternoon on the pitch behind the away end at Craven Cottage,, there goal scorer that day was John Lennon  (for supporters team) even got a mention on sport on 2 on the bbc  saying with a name like that they were bound to be save.
