fulhams bid for help rejected by PL
« on May 06, 2010, 02:56:46 pm by not on facebook »
fulham have a important cup final on wednesday nite againts some
spanish outfit in hamburg.

fulham have asked prem league if they can play their last game of season on saturday
whcih in turn will give them that extra day to prepare/recover from sundays game.

PL have said no chance they have their resasons

are the PL been sticks in the mud,not bending over backwards to help one of its members
win a european trophy.should they have a more workable outlook on things like this

suppose there will points from both sides of the fence

my guess is fulham might put out a weakend squad for PL  then to come down on fulham
with fines etc etc....wrongly in my book if the case.

what are yer thoughts

I think if it wasnt the last round of games they might have been more accomodating. You've got to have all the last games played together. Arsenal need a result to secure 3rd place and would probably argue they want the extra day to prepare for the game.

Like you say Oslo, I think they will rest players and I think they're entitled to without comeback - the manager will be judged on his results so should be allowed to pick the team he wants and suffer the consequences should something go wrong. Not that I think it would in this case.
