Bookies odds for the Championship 2010/11
« on May 09, 2010, 02:32:28 pm by Snods Shinpad 2 »
Relegation odds:

Scunthorpe 13/8
Crystal Palace 5/2
Watford   10/3
Barnsley   10/3
Doncaster 10/3
Coventry 6
Derby 7
Swansea   8
Hull   8
Preston 8
Sheff Utd 10
Portsmouth 10
Bristol City 10
Ipswich 12
Norwich 14
QPR   16
Reading 16
Burnley   16
Middlesbrough 16

Not sure why Preston are 8/1 as they struggled last term. Norwich and Ipswich seem to be priced too long also.

Out of all those clubs Palace, Sheff Utd, Watford, Hull, Preston, Pompey, Norwich and probably alot more, are struggling with debt and we could see a few teams getting point deductions this term.

....I am keeping my powder dry for a while due to the chances of admin for a few tempted as I am to HAMMER Scunny to get my last season's money back

50 @ 13/8 sounds tempting because really Burnley and Norwich and Leeds should not really figure at the bottom but there is uncertainty over Hull Pompey Palace (still) and perhaps Charlton ?

Scunny are supposed to be solvent - so sod it just wait a while !

Scunny odds might shorten even more if/when they sell Hooper.

Well they got it dead right in 09/10 predicting us and Blackpool to go down, didn't they?

I reckon Cardiff might have a tough season next year if they dont get promoted - I also think they will have a tough season if they do get promoted!

How can they possibly make predictions when no transfers have taken place?

I'm happy we're underdogs as usual, but it's still a joke and getting fairly tedious.
