I dont think its a case of the sportswear company being interested in Rovers, more the other way round.For example, Rovers might buy a replica shirt from Vandanel at £15 and sell it for £39.99, whereas a Nike one might be £20 to buy and they can only still sell at £39.99. Thats a relative £5 loss based on last season's profitability for every shirt sold.Its still not in \"Blue Monday\" territory as far as supply and demand gaffes go, but the bottom line is influenced by the supply price (which is relatively elastic) rather than the selling price (which is relatively inelastic).
If you want an England shirt try soccertriads.com. I got one with World Cup arm patch delivered for £19 and it's as good as the one I paid £40 for in JD.
