Wasn't there a Bristol City fan at the Keepmoat the season before last, who had attended something like 2,000 consecutive games? I can't remember the exact figure but his trip to the Keepmoat was a landmark of some sort!

Yeah, it was mate.

Some achievement.
Any guesses on Rovers fan who's done most consecutive games?

not me i missed QPR at home  this season stuck at Alicante airport, although not missed an away game i think for a bout 10 years, missed about 10 games in last 24 years, which aint a bad record, possibly Nathan Batchelor or Lucy,  charlie sylvester, if not stuck in a pub.

Has Nathan missed a game since Darren Esdaille's debut in 1996?

If so I bet it's only one and no more than two

No.

At one stage, I had a car crash on the Friday. It was a bad one, a white van hit me head-on (I was on the correct side of the road - they were not), and suffered a broken nose and bad bruising to my chest and a touch of whiplash. Next day, I travelled down to Farnborough and then again on the following Tuesday for the 1st leg of the Endsleigh League Trophy final

Nathan Batchelor. Nigel from Nottingham? I know neither of them have missed a game for years.

I missed the Huddersfield JPT game the year we won it, as I had just started a new job.
The last league game I missed was Cambridge away on a Friday night, sometime in the 1990's when my car broke down en-route. Anyone know the exact date?

We played Cambridge away on 13-04-1996.

It was a 2-2 draw. The scores were Jones and Schofield.

Is this the one?

I do have any understaing employer, and I use my holidays and the employers flexiable working scheme to make sure I can watch the Rovers midweek games and to perform my voluntary football roles.

No, the one I missed was a Friday evening game, 13-04-96 was a Saturday.

25-10-1996

A one nil win for Rovers. Schofield the scorer.

This looks like it was on a Friday.

Doncaster: O'Connor, Murphy, Ryan, Moore, Utley, Ireland, Schofield, McDonald, Smith, Cramb, Birch

Subs: Lester, Colcombe, Clark,
