Interweb Advice Needed
« on June 07, 2010, 07:00:26 pm by Mike_F »
I've just started encountering a problem with Internet Explorer - I know I really ought to use Firefox or summat but I'm familiar with IE and have never had problems before.

Basically what's happening is it periodically opens a new tab to  some foreign-sounding site. I have no problems closing the tab but it's a bit of a pain in the arse. Anyone know how I can stop this from happening and if I download Firefox and use it instead of IE will this eradicate the problem?

Ta.

Is it happening when you are visiting random sites, or is it specific to one?
What website is it trying to access?

Its probably malware or adware. Do you have any anti virus software?

Stopping looking at porn usually helps.

I use 'In Private Browsing' for such activities, stealth masturbation is always the best way of hiding your habit.

 its pretty quick and good.

spybot, cccleaner are other decent tools.

Thanks, DR. I downloaded i and it found 20 malware, adware and trojan programs on my system which have been deleted. Hopefully the problem will now desist.
