DROS Update
« on June 10, 2010, 11:55:24 pm by BillyStubbsTears »
No, don't get your clicking fingers out there's nowt actually happening there.

In fact, there has been but ONE news item in the last fortnight. A story about our new sponsors. As a comparison, Scunthorpe have had FIFTY-FOUR news articles on their official site in the same time. They've had stories about actual signings, potential signings, injury updates, sponsor articles, articles about the World Cup, articles about travel next season, reminders about season tickets, articles about how and when the fixtures will be determined, etc, etc and so forth. Something every single day, to keep fans interested.

We on the other hand assume that every f**ker hibernates for the whole summer.

Mind, at least our media team were trying to tell us summat in their last trek to the keyboard. Taken phonetically, it might well be a subtle hint as to the news status:

\"Wonk All for Rovers\".

It is utterly f**king pitiful. Again. Just like last year, the year before that and the year before that.

Too true, but like I said.......do the Scunny webmasters/media have the hectic week that DROS team have? It may well be that the Scunny posse don't go out on a weekend (well it is Scunny), so they can actually work Monday and Fridays with a bit of purpose. Does Scunny have a Free Press, Star, Yorks Post that will do their work for them? The answer may be NO, so hence they have to actually investigate or find things out or do something.

I'm starting to think about basics here:

Clearly DRFC has had massive issues with writing implements this summer. I'm starting to think we have problems with plug sockets, plugs or fuses too. I've heard a rumour that there is only one plug/fuse/socket at the KM and it needs to be divvied up amongst all the departments. I'm hopeful once the office CD player has finished and the girls in marketing have straightened their hair, that the Media team will have a turn.
