A request for more reasoned debate!

To be fair the moderators have tried to stay out of the loop when it comes to certain posters trading insults on here. But, because of the numerous moderator reports that we keep having to deal with we can't ignore it any more, especially seeing as the insults are now making their way onto the main board.

We will delete all posts that we feel are stoking the ill feeling and request that you all refrain from posting such inflammatory posts. You all know who we mean, and especially those that are constantly stoking the fires.

It needs to stop!

It seems that certain posters have not learned any lessons and despite warnings have continued to annoy and insult fellow posters.

We have issued further warnings today, please pay attention to those warnings or we will be faced with either banning individuals or shutting down the off-topic section.

The job's tough enough without entering into debate about what and how we moderate.

It appears that our request for more reasoned debate has fallen on deaf ears and the amount of moderation reports we keep receiving are still at a level that's unacceptable.

As moderators we are more than tired of your petty politics and arguments about left and right. This has to stop as we just do not have the time available to keep monitoring who is having a dig at who.

We have deleted posts where its quite obvious the post is just designed to attack or poke fun at another individual.

Seriously, we ask you to try and be more sensible from here on in.
