Eurosport news? ;-)

As the tories are promoting a return to olde worlde values, looks like Sky are falling in line - and making us all go back to f**king teletext!

Seems SSN is being taken off freeview due to certain discrepencies with BT. BT Vision has now go the rights to transmit SS1&2 to its subscribers which will mean a hell of a lot of SKY customers will move to BT Vision(yes this is true believe it or not) as its significantly cheaper and offers a wider spectrum of viewing, instead of repeats ala SKY.

Vision is made up of freeview and the rest is On Demand, so to combat that SKY have realised most SKY subscribers enjoy watching SSN and therfore are putting it a a PPV to combat any potential customers leaving SKY.

Its a mixture of both, and as for the answer MushRTID i would advise you to call BT towards end of July as no costs have been given yet(as we dont want other competitors to know the cost) however i would imagine your looking at between £17-£22 which is a saving based on what i pay at the minute for SS with SKY of £15. And your right about the Vision i think it pisses all over SKY for viewing
availability.   :woohoo:
