Perhaps your just hard of thinking withour any assistance then.

Whilst \"hard of thinking\" isn't a phrase I would ever use myself, I guess you are calling me stupid and ignorant?

I don't know how you can judge my mental capabilities based on the opinion I hold on the England national team.

Not judging the mental capacity of anyone here, but perhaps Bentley Bullet was suggesting people should be able to ignore the frenzy and consider; 'perhaps Wayne Rooney might just have been angry, frustrated and disappointed with himself and with everything at that moment?'

The media will tell us that he's nigh on committed treason, and when he apologises it's just a snivelling apology and not good enough.

He may get paid a lot of money but he is still a human being. Can us fellow humans honestly say we have never made a regretful comment in response to a disappointing situation when things have gone against us?

He's issued an apology, that should now be the end of the matter.

An apology would have more substance if it was done via the same media that his original comment was made, on camera, not issued through a FA statement

They are totally frozen with fear and Capello not helping as he is too heavy handed- look at our SOD that's the way you build up to big games and be relaxed ....players do not need to be motivated and you can be overmotivated ....remember Snodin?

I dont boo players as totally pointless as in the main they know if they played well or not.

Also makes me laugh when the \"housewifes\" complain re the money they earn - would you not take the money they earn...is it there fault they get paid so much??

the Italian even picks Heskey 'cos (allegedly) Wayne plays better off him ...

The phrase I heard was that Rooney \"prefers to play with Heskey\".Which can be intepreted differently.I reckon Rooney wants to partner Heskey because he wont score all day but if he picked Crouch who out of the current England players has the best scoring record for England will bang them in an make him look better than Rooney. We cannot have that can we?
If he sticks with the same squad on Wed I fear we are doomed. If he swaps a few then I think we are in with a good chance. What I noticed is when the England players was interview after qualifying games and even friendlies the likes of Rooney,Lampard,Gerrard were sweating like pigs yet after the two world cup games so far they hardly seemed to be out of breath never mind having broken sweat.WHY??? very strange, they did all the hard work and qualified with games in hand and deserved to be there but then seem to let it all go in the group stages and not look keen enough? If Rooney had tried hard enough he would not have able to make his comment so clearly while going off would he?

Rooney's outburst is a pure distraction.  On both performances in SA so far he shouldnt be picked on merit.

I'd start with Defoe and Crouch up front - a pairing that we know works well at club level.

Exactly clear thinking at last, drop the pathetic t**t and ............rule ourselves out completely. He's one of just a few players in the world who can change a game in an instant and we can just 'bin' him ?

Totally agree Rob.Crouch is one of those players who just seems to have the Knack of scoring for England when others cannot.

Interesting article here.

Basically it looks like they have issued an ultimatum to Capello to change things.

This could get pretty interesting if Capello lives up to his hardman image and refuses to listen.
