Does anyone find him funny ?

I see Stan Collymore had a dig at his physique yesterday saying kids look up to James Corden \"The jolly old pie man\" with his big fat belly

Thats Stan off his guest list.

I used to like him, in Gavin and Stacey I thought he was brilliant.

But he is really starting to get on my tits now and im starting to agree with the people who cant stand him.

The only time I've found him funny was when Patrick Stewart had a go at him, and that's mainly as he was the target.

Same here. Really liked G&S but as I like dry/sarcastic humour him making obvious giddy jokes then cracking up at them with a laugh more irritating than a vuvuzela means I don't like a lot of his morerecent stuff.

He was better in the TV show \"Teachers\" when he was ripped for being a fat waste of space, which ultimately is what he has become.

I've been saying this for a while. He was bearable on 'A League of Their Own' on sky1 but that's only because John Bishop and Freddie Flintoff ran things.

I haven't watched one of his world cup live attempts though, dont like the way he clings on to England and is suddenly best mates with JT, Stevie, Lamps, Wazza, Crouchy etc.

He'll take his pay packet and waddle off in to the distance soon hopefully.

Have to say I'm not a fan at all either.  He was good in Gavin and Stacey but I find him arrogant and a huge believer of his own importance, cannot stand the guy.

He's OK as an actor, with a script and a director telling him what to do, but as a presenter trying to make (what is reasonably decent) material on his world Cup prog come across naturally he is hopeless. He has such a crap sense of timing he kills most of the stuff stone dead by telegraphing the joke.

Well I think he's good.
He used to frequent the Top club in Bentley not so long ago when he went out with Sheridan Smith, and we only have quality in our village!

I agree that the fat lump can't handle anything spontaneous, and is utter shite on live tv. I liked him in Gavin and Stacey too, but his best performance ever was here:

I defy anyone not to laugh at this

Hilarious!
Was that filmed in the Top club in Bentley? The background looks a bit like it.

Well at least he has a decent taste in women.

Bit disappointed with Sheridan Smith though. I thought she's have some standards at least when it came to choosing blokes. ;)

Isnt she now engaged to Duncan James? Formerly of dodgy boy band Blue?

Anyways, I can top the lot of you, I lived two doors away from Sheridan and her Family in Epworth, my sister used to baby sit for her, and I know her Brother Damian, who does plenty of gigs with his band around here, quite well.

Her parents are from local veteran country group the Daltons.
Bentley has attracted one or two 'celebrity' types in the past. Local lad Danny Whatsisname from Hearsay used to go out with one of the Birds from Steps and they used to occasionally drink in the Railway Tavern. Former Rovers player Billy Mordue uses the same pub now and again.
Late one Saturday night, a few years ago, I saw Sammy Davis Junior leaving the West end club.
I reckon Bentley hosts more celebrities per person than any other local village.
It is probably the 'Hollywood' of Doncaster.
