We ran a prediction competition at work, and I got it down as a Holland v Spain final.  Looks like I might be an absolute genius! ;-)

I can't wait to see them gozzing at each other again, who was it again? Was it Rikjard who spat in Rudi Vollar's perm? or was it Rudi Vollar who spat in Ruud Gullit's shit locks.

Holland- Germany could be a very spicy affair. They don't like each other that much. Bring it on!

Incidentally, did anyone notice that Trevor Kettle, admittedly heavily disguised, was reffing the Spain-Paraguay game last night? Penalty retakes indeed! Shame he missed the fact that the first one (missed by Paraguay) should also have been retaken due to encroachment.

I would like to see Holland win the final ......

It will probably be Germany that does but at least it isn't the same old parade.

In fact it's the first time I've really enjoyed the World Cup since I don't know when. It has been good to see 'new' South American and European teams in the competition.

It will cetainly be worth watching this time.
