Is the ink dry yet?

Whilst I don't want to get too carried away, this could be the most significant signing of Rovers recent history. I just hope the Mirror have got it wrong when they report that they (Sheff U) want one of our defenders throwing into the deal.

I'd rather there was an official announcement, before there's a surge in tissue sales from the Asda!

I really cant see rovers letting a defender go the other way, especially Jimmy who is one of the best defenders in the league, I think that will just be paper talk, well im hoping it is. Very excited about Billy signing but im going to try and hold some of that in until it becomes official on Dros...... who knows I could be waiting another week or two!

Fantastic news for this morning, but a very shrewd bit of business if Sheff Utd have taken Jimmy and £1.2M for a player who would have rotted in their reserves and gone for free in the summer.

That said, right backs are a lot easier to find than a tried and tested goalscorer, and we've already got Chambers to fill the slot.

Now give him the #10 shirt, no more of this #5 nonsense, he's not a centre-half!

If Jimmy is going to Sheff Utd, I can't see much more than 250k being handed over in addition. Must be a player plus fee deal totalling £1.2m.

Just on the Jimmy front.. To my knowledge and when i spoke with Billy there was no mention of Jimmy going the other way..

As far as i understood it was a straight deal..

Funny enough Billy isnt answering his phone at the moment.. Maybe a little busy :dry:
