I'd rather have something that scares the sh*t out of the opposition than 'stirs' the home fans.

How about a huge picture of Neil Campbell on one of those centre circle size canvasses and \"Send in the Clowns\" playing on the PA?

Cant we just have the Vikettes back?  B)

ye whatever happened to the vikettes?

The music something that gets the heart pumping, excitement levels rising before kick off ... but needs to be played loud over the PA otherwise it wont have any affect on the atmosphere

As for music when we score .. maybe something different ...Bellini- Samba De Janeiro ... the song they used at EURO 2008

If we ever have a home game on a Sunday for some reason, I'd LOVE this one to get played (Pity we're away last match of the season  :( )

Perfect Sunday

I don't mind that at all. It has a fanfare type feel to it.

Personally I like this version from 1:40 in

Actually sod what i said!
I agree with Nudga.
Lets turn Molly Malone into our 'Goodnight Irene' as Brizzle Rovers sing!

And also getting The Dubliners for a gig would be amazing!

There's plenty of good suggestions here. I think there could be scope for a combination or medley of some of these in the  20 mins or so in the run up to the players entrance.

There may be some merit in tempering the volume so that pre match chanting would not be overshadowed however I think we need to get down to one choice that's played to signal the players are about to come out.

The one where as soon as the first bar is heard everyone knows what it means, and everyone comes together to sing, chant, clap, tap feet etc, so that when the players enter the field it's a wall of noise.

Whatever that choice is, it needs to be uplifting, catchy, have wide appeal, be familiar and appropriate.

Dead easy eh ?

If we have a vote, could I suggest we narrow it down to maybe two or three and let the players have the casting vote ?
