No problem with them. When I was younger, me and a mate were on way back from a Conference game on the train. There were a few Rotherscum fans on the same train, one of which grabbed my pal by the throat without any kind of provocation. There were a few DDR lads in the next carriage who promptly gave him a bit of a seeing to, not before ripping up his Millers season ticket in front of his face.
I have no problem at all with them. It's not my scene, but I know a few lads that are or have been involved with them and they're all good lads. When the club was on its' knees and could barely scrape four figure gates, many of the key DDR lads were amongst the few that kept going home and away. They have a bad reputation with some, but the ones I know are huge football fans as well as all the other stuff. Before anyone sets out to criticise their attachment to the club, they should stop and think who was really around when times were bad (and by bad I don't mean losing to Newcastle).
