As of writing, and I'm sure it may be 1 or 2 out. We are concerned about the number of foreign players coming into the EPL, and the effect it's having on our national team. There has been a mass outcry about this and it still cuts the nerve after the World Cup. Hopefully, something will be done, and no doubt the FA and the Prem League big wigs will have got their heads together and look to do something about it. I'm sure that's what they'll do. I'm convinced they have the national teams interests at heart.

Mind that's OK, I think we only have a few foreign players in the EPL, so these lot won't effect anything

All the EPL clubs care about is themselves and thats it.  Ever since the inception of the premier league, where the FA and the clubs sold their souls to the devil, that financial clout and foreign imports have become derigeur of our top tier.

Dont know about you but I dont enjoy the premiership, where small teams like Forest and Derby, will never have a chance of winning the prem again.  It has been a closed shop of four teams until City have tried to break in with unprecidented spending.  The amount of games on TV means watching footy on tele, be it highlights of MOTD or the live sunday match, is overkill.

The whole situation is having a knock on adverse effect to the national team.  The kids are there (see the U19s currently) but do they have a chance of getting into a top/medium prem side?  No really.  For me, unfortunately, watching the national side has stopped being a very special occasion.  I'd much rather watch the national Rugby side, at least that shirt means everything to them.
