Fair enough about DeGea. I wasn't really paying attention about his affair. I thought I'd heard him saying that he wasn't in the right frame of mind to play for Man Utd back in August but I was probably mistaken.

Van Gaal said he didn't think DeGea was in the right frame of mind to play.

to all of you who think wellens is such a god? why the hell as no other club wanted him? proof of the pudding is in the eating, he's not good enough, stop holding on to something that's gone.

Anyone so blind as to not see how important Wellens is to our midfield really does have a problem.

I think the most likely scenario was that PD suspended him because PD was in a shakey position with team performance and the overall committment he was feeling from the squad. Excluding someone who was looking elsewhere was an effort at both instilling authority long and, most pertinately, short term, and keeping the squad focused.

Somewhere like Fleetwood will be his destination, and though he has been a fine player, ''The brain's there, but the legs to do what he wants to aren't any more''!.
I would wish him well and be glad we can start moving forward, and build a new midfield, it will be sad when he goes, one of the links to the Sod and Penney teams!.

If Wellens is so important to us why have we been so shite when he has been in the team and the only game we have won we did it without him
