Not on Sunday
Gardener was the best player on the pitch in the 1st half.  Got kicked and did not re appear 2nd half.
Replaced by Ravenhill and we were totally outplayed. Bringing Curkur on for Bogle who was also injured at half time compounded the problem as ball never got out of our half for more than 10 seconds.
We were basically playing with 6 outfield players 2nd half. Barlow who did great 1st half was replaced by Dodoo who was next to useless and Hiwula being the other totally anonymous other player.
Well Hiwula was involved but made a complete mess of even trying to control the ball, pass the ball and attempt to close any one down. Apart from that he was brilliant.  ;)

It could get worse Camps if Galbraith gets moved to another club as has been rumoured.

He’s a really good player that just needs better quality around him. Would be a shame but he isn’t our player unfortunately.

For all those having a go at our club for the way we go about transfers and contracts, have a listen to Paul Warne today.

These things happen at every club. You can’t force players to sign if they want to keep their options open. Clearly they also have players who want to see which division they will be in before considering putting pen to paper.

It's not unique to Doncaster Rovers.

Do you think with the way we go about transfers we'd pull off a Mcindoe type signing. JR was straight on the ball and proactive. Completly the opposite to what we are used to these days.

That's so far away from the reality of today it's fantasy football.

To be fair JR did also land us with Justin Jackson and Carl Alford plus the prolonged chase for Rigoglioso.

And Harry Forrester.  Much easier to spend big sums on certain players if it's your own money and you really want them.  Our current owner doesn't do that, the sooner some accept it the easier they'll feel about it.

But we still need players quick and good ones at that.
