Great grandson of Mr Magoo. Sits midway between wholly and irredeemably incompetent, and outright corrupt. Hard to decide which is more accurate, but suffice to say Stevie Wonder listening on the radio could have called more decisions correctly.

The worst performance by a referee at Donny in over 12 years,  ie since the dreaded Mick Russell. He may as well have travelled from Lancashire in one of the Crewe supporters coaches.

I think that he was equally bad for both sides…. He just seemed incapable of making any sort of reasonable decision.   

We should have had two penalties - Fouls on Hurst and Molyneux were both obvious fouls which one of the officials should have seen.

He wasn't just bad, he was stupid.
 
Either he couldn't see they were taking the piss out of him at every opportunity = stupid, or he could see it and did nothing about it = doubly stupid.  God alone knows how he has a job as a referee. a more pathetic example I simply cannot imagine; and I'd be saying that even if we'd won 10 - 0.
