Mansfield game
« on November 17, 2021, 06:00:05 am by Padge_DRFC »
Now confirmed as Saturday 3pm.

Also tenner a ticket. Well done both teams on agreeing that. Hopefully word will spread and get a decent crowd in. We're not bad to watch at home as well.

Excellent! Well done the club for this. Should improve the attendance from both sides i would have thought. Looking forward to the game actually. Respite from the league and a game against a side who we should be able to beat just about, but who will be backed by a sizeable away following to make up for that. Intriguing but nervous at the same time.

Well done to the club for listening if they hadn’t already decided. Hope we get ten thousand plus in.

We just need to get 7.5k home fans in. They might get 2.5k at these prices  A win on Saturday and a bit of letting people know it's possible

If Rovers were to win and get the dream third round draw then ticket preference for the third round should perhaps go to those who attended the Mansfield and Scunny games first and then secondly, who ever attended the Mansfield game.
That might encourage people to buy tickets for the second round match.

Stags took 1355 to Sunderland, they have an allocation of 2000 for us,, my mate a lifelong Stags supporter reckons they will easily sell their allocation. Question then is will they get another allocation?

There's no reason why they shouldn't.

I might be wrong, mate, but I believe ST holders get first dibs for FA Cup tickets.

Yes they do of course SS.
My thoughts could still be applied after STs get first dibs.

Apparently they’re being given another 1200 tickets after selling the initial 2500 out before general sale.

Oh great. They will have close to half of the total fans in the ground then. Should make it easier for our team, not.

I thought the backing our fans, especially the Black Bank at the back of the goal was fantastic yesterday, much more vocal than Lincoln's support.

As you know hound I sit in the West Stand, The support of the Black Bank was the best I have heard for ages, led by the drummer who must have been knackered at the end of the game.
I thought it was great and hope it becomes a feature of our home games.

Sorry Hound, I knew you were I was just praising our fans your intensions were clear to me mate. The drummer really got them going, the Lincoln fans for their part were quiet compared with the Black Bank.

Agree about the Lincoln fans. Surprisingly subdued to be kind to them.

The 400 Cambridge fans a month ago made much more noise.

That's good going. Really anticipating this game now as it is a break from the league woes and could be a bumper crowd with the potential of it being an entertaining game for a change. I'm up for the cup!  :scarf:
