When I was going through some financial turmoil a few years ago it was a great way to avoid talking to the bank though.

"Mr. Follows, can you confirm your date if birth for me?"

"Sorry, I don't know you're really who you claim to be and I don't give out information to cold callers. Bye."

Huge pick-up trucks with their eye-level halogen high-beams, blinding me on narrow, unlit country roads.

Where's a deer when you need one?

If there's one thing I remember from living in Orlando area it's that, used to do my tree in on the way to work.

I'll add another one, winning 2 VIP tickets to an event and then realising you've made plans for the day of that event - killer!

Doesn't drive me mad but I will never understand why people use the fuel pumps that are on the opposite side to their fuel caps when there are plenty available on the right side.

It`s usually women drivers that do that ;)

Maybe there weren't any available when they drove in?

Or they forgot which side the filler cap is on their car?

I like Filo's answer better, Muttster.  Actually, I think your second suggestion applies too.

No offence to members of the opposite genital group.

Its normally men I see ;)

I pulled in behind someone last night, empty forecourt, used the wrong side. Baffling. Unless they want to show how manly they are.... Grrrr look at me I can pull a fuel hose around my car....

I dont see what the problem is.  I often do that if there are no pumps free on the "right" side.

I do, but I find it funny  when people are queuing for a pump on the "right side"  when theres empty pumps on the "wrong side"

Which is fair enough, but what's the point if the forecourt is practically empty and there are plenty on the 'right' side? It's just bizarre!

It's a male conspiracy to keep the minds of the female of the species ( ;) ) occupied.

Or its superstition.  Us blokes are like that.  Footy shirt on last after shorts, shinnies, socks, boots laced up, the lot.
