Unlucky or not, we had one shot on target.*

*According to the always right BBC...

Keeper tipped an effort from Bennett over the bar and did a great save from wellens, so that tells you everything about bbc stats

After all poor Dickov did have to deal with a messy pre-season.

He did. You are correct there. A total mess of a pre season meaning he had to make do, as well as not having a squad to hit the ground running. Glad you made that point

We came extremely close to scoring 3 times before they did,

Was a very comfortable win for MK we weren't unlucky.

Not sure we can keep mentioning the pre-season. Plenty of managers take over sides part-way through a season and make a difference. And he's been allowed to bring players in/been amply supported by the Board.

Still, he's got everything lined up nicely this time around, so we shall see...

Dickos - I was being a little sarcastic there. I know the BBC is never knowingly right.

Another second half disaster. We just couldn't compete after their first. As is often the case. Dickov has to go. We go one down and nine times out of ten you know which way it will go.

Fcuking embarrassing....

What is?  Holding on for over an hour against a decent team going for automatic promotion?

YES.... and how the heads drop as soon as we concede.  Or are you happy with a 3-0 defeat? After all poor Dickov did have to deal with a messy pre-season.

Er no, but it is realistic.  We are petering out after an inconsistent season.  Getting beaten by the side going for promotion is no surprise.

"f**king embarrassing" is extreme however - embarrassing if we were the team going for promotion getting beat by 3...

Although 3-0 sounds really bad, the radio lads didnt put it over like that.
We could have gone in front before their lucky first goal and we did have some young lads on the pitch at the end.
Some were predicting a hammering tonight but we very nearly got a draw (yes i know it was 3-0 but if we had got in front it would have been different).

That's how I see it. That first goal was incredibly lucky, and changed the match. Good experience for Lund and Whitehouse, and don't forget Jones and Evina haven't had much football recently.

Sense at last

The sense of it we are in the bottom half of the table. We conceed goals when we try and go to offensive and have done all season. We don't score enough goals at home and have done all season. The preseason is to blame some/ a lot say. Well he has got another one, will the owners give him a budget so we can sign players quickly. Let's not forget whether we like it or not players sign contracts for the best possible deals and their agents hunt round to get them one.

PD says he is looking for experienced players with aggression, if they are any good they cost money. Will the owners allow signings like these quickly.

Will the preseason go on and on again or will PD get his players.

Will PD be able to develop the young talent we have again we will have to wait and see.

So it's over to PD and the owners to give us a squad that WILL be in the top six all season if they don't want or can not only preseason will tell us. Will there be more excuses which supporters will jump on to say we did not have a good preseason?
