I hope Tony Stewart keeps his promise and pays the salary he's promised, given half the chance he'll fleece Jackett.

With the Rotherham fans he will surely need a Full Metal Jacket

''No Jackett required according to Phil Collins'' ;). Stubbs i think most could see it wouldn't work out for him from the start. They needed to retain Warnock but couldn't. As it is Jackett has good championship experience so should do alright for them.
Warnock whether you like him or not, to keep them up last season was as near to a miracle as you will get in football. To stay in that league with little money you need to be almost perfect in signing players onto extended deals and recruiting has to be spot on!.

If you remember our time in the league as each season went along we got weaker. We sold players on and didn't replace them with the same quality.
We were heavily reliant on Billy Sharp who just couldn't stay fit, as was the same with most of our squads over the seasons.
Unless he can get some good free transfers in and a few bargains when the transfer window opens, then they have a slight chance. By the time the window opens though the gap could have got bigger.
Then you need promotion form just to stay up. Poor sides don't usually avoid relegation two seasons on the trot. I hope they stay up being a Yorkshire side but i think Jackett has some job on to achieve it!.

And another two bite the dust:
Gary Caldwell of Wigan Athletic and Walter Zenga of Wolves

Surprised about Caldwell. He got them up last season and I thought he was chummy with the chairman.

Gary McSheffrey on Twitter reckons Karl Robinson is lined up for that job. We'll see.

the Birmingham manager will be gone soon - that loss to Burton is the start of the end for him with the takeover we have yet another club with a divine right to promotion

meanwhile Ipswich fans are desperate to do a Charlton (get rid of the manager and get relegated) they live on "charity shop signings" and can look forward to the lower echelons the decline could be very quick

One of the best managers outside the Prem Rowett.

He is. Although Birmingham City have a decent sized fanbase they are far from flush with money.

If they are daft enough to sack Rowett, he won't be out of work long.

Most people working in the Vatican think the Pope's a bit of a prat... Or so I'm told.  ;)

If they beat that noisy lot from just down the road this weekend, and convincingly, Gary Rowett will become as popular amongst Blues fans as the Pope is in the Vatican.

well it took 7 weeks to find a "chink" in the manager's armour - people with "no football knowledge" who  didn't realise brum brum were over achieving as for the present QPR manager  "sheer lunacy" think he needs some of that superglue that's holding rovers in 3rd position

Pure stupidity to let a manager of Rowett's talent go. He has done a really good job for them.
