Let me get this right.

We're going to go into the final week of the season in a play-off position, but we need 9 new players if we're going to be any good in this league next year?

Marosi doesn’t sign that’s 1
Right back haven’t got one that’s 2gng
If Andrew doesn’t sign that’s 3
Wright and Anderson signing Downing and Butler that’s 5
Whiteman and Crawford if Rowe doesn’t sign Kane goes back to Liverpool that could 3/4 total 8/9
Marquis, May and Sadlier if Copps sign we will need 2. If Maquis goes we will need a total of 11/12.

I do not believe any of the U23 side is good enough for first team football if we are going for promotion.

In the summer before any loan players we need
1 new goal keeper
1 right back
1 left back
1 centre half
2 midfielders
3 attackers

And that’s if we stay in league 1.... big summer ahead for the club

Personally i think we need; we need 2x right backs (one experienced one understudy) 2 centre midfielders (one to replace Kane and a holding midfielder to backup Whiteman) 2x strikers (one for wilks and one to help marquis out if he's out of form or injured, both need to be starting 11 quality)

Thats assuming we don't lose anyone we want to keep so if Andrew leaves or Marquis obviously they need a replacement. That's only 6 players which isn't that many in a summer for our division.

Marosi, Butler, Andrew, Rowe and Coppinger.  To sign yet, if we stay in this league otherwise replacements required. I we not be bothered if Marosi left to bring a No.1 Keeper
Lewis, Downing, Kane, Wilks and Smith going back. We will need some to sign or all replaced.
On top of these we need a first team right back, more centre mid players and forwards.
If we are still in this league we will need better players or equal to some if our aim next season is promotion
