Alan, Thorne Colliery has been part of the u18s pre season preparation the last few years and have proved just about the right standard to stretch the lads in a first taste of men's football.
Rossington also has seen most young loan and new players take up the challenge of a game against a local side who have not nade it easy in past games and have put on a great show for the supporters as well.
Gainsborough, Scunthorpe, and York would have attracted myself as well as probably having good supporter turn outs, but I think the build up in class is about right, there could be a few games behind closed doors mid week during training v local league sides not in our division as well as those advertised.
