I would be very surprised if GM would go on holiday without having everything in place, he isn't like that. I would expect that announcements will happen this week, but the players are already ours. Going public is not necessarily on the same day as signing.
Cotty, you should have been excited today, some players were in voluntarily for tests at Cantley.
I miss a good game of guess the trialist

Peter O'Rourke on X is reporting that we are in advanced talks with a Tottenham youngster. He is usually a very reliable scource
In each transfer window we take what I assume to be a fairly low risk punt on a young and largely untested wide player in the loan market. Tyler Roberts, Ephraim Yeboah and Ethan Ennnis all struggled to make much of an impact and didn’t look ready. The law of averages would say we ought to be due a comparative success in that area, and hopefully this young player from Tottenham can prove to be that. It’s not one that I can get excited about personally, though. We’ve already got four of our own players vying for that position and unless this player is significantly better than them (and I think we all have reasonably high hopes that Molyneux, Gibson and Middleton are established players that can make an impact) then it only messes with the balance when it comes to the development of Hurst, who is our asset and should be our priority. Obviously I’ll retract all of that if Damola Ajayi looks like the next Messi and elevates us to promotion candidates.
