I think the two headed goals one poster is referring to above were in the Dundalk v Galway game.

Yeah, I was referring to the Dundalk game.

Another defeat for Louis and Waterford, this time to Shamrock Rovers;

Looks like the late winner took a deflection on the way in.

Louis had a really good game and made some really good saves keeping his side in the game, probably why some have not posted a reference to him this week.

It looks like Louis is spoiling some agendas on here.

The Irish fans must be not giving him loads of support on their forums! Thats what makes him play shit I seem to remember one of our less younger posters saying

These Irish games are exciting to watch aren’t they? Plenty of running and commitment as I suppose you’d expect of a Celtic race.

Not quite the environment into which LJ is comfortably accommodated. His reactions might, in another context be described as “measured”. I don’t think you can teach reaction time, but sportsmen and in particular Goalkeepers need it in abundance. The last part of the sentence “Jones had no chance…” is “but most goalkeepers would have at least been quick enough to make some attempt to save it rather than just watch.”

Is Faulkner injured or just out of favour at Dundalk?

Flint is playing in midfield for Darlington and making a fantastic impression. They are hoping to keep him for the season

Jones is just not good enough to be playing in league 2 and has proved that numerous times throughout the past 4-5 seasons. Time to release in the summer.

Thanks for that, Albie. I enjoyed it. Kuleya involved in the late winner.

Cheers Albie, lived near Truro 30 years, and watched them at their old ground Treyew Rd, with Keifer Moore banging a few goals in.
The new stadium initially was a Stadium for Cornwall, looks like a few costs were cut! Too many pen pushers at county hall I think.

Faulkner could be back soon. Rumours over here that Dundalk's wages won't be paid this week and the matter is with the PFAI.

Will Flint doing very well for Darlington. Potentially worth a go at the National League in January. One of the most promising youngsters we've had in a while.

Jones was dropped to the bench for Waterfords last game which they lost 3-0 to St Pat's.

Faulkner on the bench for Dundalk. Came on and played 13 mins.

That’s good that Bobby is back fit. Going to be interesting to see what happens in January if Wood is back fit. That puts Bobby fifth choice in a side that usually but not always plays two centre backs. Will he go out on loan again, in the final months of the final year of his contract?
