I think the majority were in the Sal. All the loanees were in as well. All having a great time. McGrath was master of ceremonies - all the lads sang their own songs, Billy crowd surfed.

You know, just a normal afternoon in the Sal ;)

I think every member of the squad was in the Sal and later moved on to other pubs. It was an amazing atmosphere in the Sal beer garden. The players were friendly and humble. Fabulous feeling of togetherness. They are a good team and a good set of blokes too! Proud of my club.

We have a very special group developing.

Reminds me of the Stock group.

Can you achieve this togetherness higher up the Pyramid? Would you see Man City or Liverpool players on the piss with the fans after the game?

Massive credit to the club for stage managing this match and joyous occasion. All the planning and preparation paid off.

The script writer did a decent job with this episode, writing in the elation, then the jeapardy followed by the returning hero and the happy ending. Not quite the Brentford cross bar but damn close.

The decision to limit and isolate the Bradford fans was vindicated with the possibility of things kicking off. The tooled up cops were there for a reason.

Great scenes towards the end and the expected pitch invasion added to the occasion with this perhaps being our younger generations Stoke moment. The catalyst to better times ahead?

There's lots of takeaway moments to look back on but one which resonates with me is seeing an acquaintance with his 5 or 6 year old daughter before the game, hugging her newly purchased Donny Dog cuddly toy. Asking her if we were going to win, to which she nodded enthusiastically. Who's going to score? Billy Sharp.

This was for her and all the other young uns who are now where I started and my first promotion in 1969/70. Rovers Til I Die.

Young lads in front of me, almost certainly their first promotion, shirts off stood on their seats swinging the shirts above their heads in excitement, brilliant, this has certainly hooked them into the Rovers family

The players started in the Sal, moved on to the Hall Cross, then Manana Mañana, and Mint in Lazarus Court, then finishing in Castle in the Market Place. Atmosphere was electric all night, with players and fans singing and drinking. If you look for "No Context Rovers" on twitter, there's some cracking videos.

Personal highlights include Billy trying to get his card out in Mint and the landlord (wearing a rovers shirt) yelling "you're not f***ing paying tonight", and Joe Sbarra singing Voulez Vouz into a lightbulb. It was one of those nights that will last as long in my memory as Wembley or Brentford. That's the great thing about support a club like ours. Imagine Van Dijk or De Bruyne partying with the fans round town, it just doesn't happen.

Thanks all for sharing, what an incredible night you had bonding with ‘our squad’.

And you’re absolutely right about such a night only ever able to happen outside of the Premiership (& probably the Championship too), where players are on ‘a different planet’ to those people who turn up week after week to watch them play.

It puts me in mind of the stories you hear about footballers back in the fifties catching the bus to training & picking up a local newspaper on the way!

For all of you lucky enough to have been there, good on yer. Some of you will have tales to tell your grandchildren about ‘the good old days’!

Absolutely delighted for the club, the staff, Grant McCann and his management team, the players and of course you the fans. Couldn't be happier for you all.

A lovely club that we all as a family still have very, very fond memories of.

Really well done! Now go and tear it up in League 1 next season.

Thanks for that link mate.
Amazing that the players would go out with the ball fans like that.
What a brilliant thing to do.
