When you look at the package offered by Derby for their season ticket holders then ours is poor. I appreciate they pay more than our season ticket holders, but their prices have been frozen for the last 5 years. A work colleague has purchased his and he has been given a £60 discount from last year. They have different options how to pay and have all types of free bees. They say and prove that their supporters, are important to the club. Yet we are told we need to get our tickets early so the club can decide how much to spend, it is not a benefit to the supporter or their finances. If there had not been complaints then the early bird offer would have been finished and was only extended because the club thought we would follow like sheep and we did not. Good relationship I do not think so.So if targets are not met then we the season ticket holders will be blamed for not backing the club yet the club shows no appreciation for the season ticket holders.

I had a snoop on a L**ds forum earlier and according to a poster 46% of those that have renewed their season ticket did so using Zebra finance.
That is quite a large figure. It sounds like we have dropped a bollock by not helping fans by offering an easy payment scheme.

Barnsley are offering to stagger the payment of STs over 3 monthly installments.

It's old ground now, but Gareth and I spoke with the club at the start of the season and advised them to plan for spreading ST payments to make buying a ST as pain-free as possible.....
Didnt happen. Zebra finance was one of the companies we presented as an option. They are not interest free - far from it - but at least they offer an instalment option, and its up to each individual to determine whether its a good deal for them or not.

I don't why you bother trying to help the club as they just go from one f**k up to another and don't listen to what fans have to say. If it's not their idea they are not interested!
