I hear Thorne Colliery are building a new 40K stadium thanks to their new billionaire benefactor.  They are hoping to entice the world cup bidding committee into opting for them as the Yorkshire bid due to the parking capacity, planty of accomodation (the people of Moorends will give up their homes for the duration of the cup) and being able to create a lasting legacy by moving both Sheffield clubs and Leeds Utd into the stadium after the cup.
