Time will tell on that point Riggo. As much as I know Blackwell was disliked he did get them into the
playoffs despite some very unattractive foota. I really can't see them doing that with Speedo. I think GS will have got the job purely beause the Board will have the upper hand and use him more of a glove puppet than they managed to with Blackie.

Speed has worked with some of the best managers around, the likes of Wilkinson, Keegan, Robson, MOyes etc so i'm sure he will have picked up some great pointers. Only time will tell but i have a sneaky feeling he may just be what SUFC need. Also take into effect the players they have injured and who are due back then relegation....not for me.

From what his dad was saying at the press conference following his signing, I don't think Billy or his family were impressed with any aspect of the way the entire club goes about its business, not just the way Blackwell did things.
