I use Mozilla Firefox, however last couple of days when I click on bookmarks I keep getting poxy Ask.com popping up with my bookmark in the search bar? I`ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox but to no avail. Are there any techies out there can help me?

Have you tried turning it off and back on again?
My guess is that you've downloaded something that has installed some default to ask.com that you could perhaps have unticked if you'd noticed it.

Yes, sounds like you've unwittingly installed something.
Go to the menu and click 'Tools', then 'Add ons' then check either the 'Plugins' or 'Extensions' tab to see if there's anything obvious installed in there. If there is you should be able to uninstall from there.

Cheers for the advice, tried what you suggested and at the moment seems to have done the trick(uninstalled some random add ons I didn`t recognise!)
