Went to Bristol last Satdi...
« on August 28, 2010, 12:38:28 am by BillyStubbsTears »
...for a friend's wedding.

Satdi morning, I gets up with the missus and bairns and went out for a walk in the middle of town. Not 50 yards from the hotel, a beat up car comes jallopying down the road, driven by a middle aged woman. Bass bins in the back hammering out 130dB at about 20Hz. A spotty little white oik stuck out of the window shouting Massive Attack backing vocal expletives like \"Uh...uh...uhh...yeah!\" and \"Crushall!\" etc to all comers.

Which got me thinking.

Have YOU ever shouted town-specific lyrics at a passer-by? Have you ejaculated \"Ah can see St Elmo's Fyah burnin in meeeah!\" to some poor innocent scuttling from the station to the Leopard, trying to pass an hour while waiting for the connecting train to Beverley?

I'll stick me hand up first. Having been born in Conisbrough, I felt it my duty to once wind the car window down and ask a pedestrian \"Is this the way to Amarillo?\"
