rovers v norwich pre match, match thread b*llocks
« on September 13, 2010, 04:36:51 pm by not on facebook »
maybe its because norwich have just come up that i have
no confidence in this one at all, also its a midweek fixture.

my heart says a defeat whilst me head goes for a draw 2-2
been favorite.

crowd will be 8,000 + what ever city bring.

Rovers can destroy teams but to do this they must have confident defence - so lockwood must go !!

No doubt Norwich have the forwards - Martin and Holt to profit from any errors in the defence.

I went for one-one in the paper so better stick with this, however, Rovers at present are impossible to predict at the minute!

Again tough to predict. If the comedy duo of Lockwood and Martis remain together we may get away with a 2-2 however if SOD sees the light then no reason why we can't pull off a good win.

Rovers 2-1

If hird gets given a chance think we could be on to a winner but if not struggle to a draw once again

I expect SOD will drop Lockwood tonight, he sounded annoyed again with the defence after Saturday.  2-1 Rovers I fancy, Sharp is due a goal from open play and I fancy he'll get it tonight.  Martis also to score from a corner.

Anyone else feeling nervous about our defence even before a ball has been kicked?

I cant remember the last time i felt like this, its all right people asking for Hird to be paired up with Martis, but does anyone remember getting thrashed by friggin' Havant with that very pairing???

Id honestly play Hird right back and bring Oconnor in with Martis. That will get Hird up to speed with match fitness etc and when/if required can then be paired with Martis in the middle.

If we can get through the next 2 games without any f**k ups at the back i'll be happy

I know it's very early days but the bottom of the table looks interesting... a few Clubs there that you might have expected to be in the top half.
