Tinchy Stryder Gig
« on September 19, 2010, 01:58:21 pm by DRFCTom »
Ive noticed this is on the same day as the Forest game.. Gates open at 4pm and the event starts at 6pm. How are they going to get around this with the football?

Me being a young lad and into that sort of music I have a ticket  :)

The gig isn't inside the stadium, its outside.
Still, if the gates open at 4pm, i'm predicting a nightmare with traffic.

Great organising from the SMC!

I'm not surprised, Tinchy Stryder is shite.

In reality though they're selling tickets without the use of external ticketing engines etc, whilst you get some exposure locally, without using online means etc you'll never get attraction to the masses.

I don't think anything mate, because it aint happened yet and I assume it would have been known that there was a game on. So until problems arise during or after, why immediately go on the negative moaning slope, many moons before the event?

Just let them got on with for crying out loud. Whinge about it after, IF it's gone tits up, then fine.

Not that I give a shit or will be going, but we are having a so called Chart Topper playing at Donny. I see that as a positive.

I think it's a necessity now though, to top the charts, you have to be shite, which he most certainly is!

In your opinion.

He's certainly not to my tastes, and I wont be rushing to buy his album or a ticket, but the Charts refelect POPULAR music - always have and always will.

He's clearly popular, and there for him to come to Doncaster can only be a positive and good news for the town.

I'm not sure that's entirely true. Nowadays I think the charts, like X Factor, reflect popular people, the 'music' (if that's what some of it can be called) is just a by-product of the image. The charts are now littered with (to quote The Inbetweeners) vain talentless t**ts.

But when all said and done, they are the most popular in the charts and record sales, no matter how they got there.

I'm not disputing popularity, just the basis of a lot of it. I don't know enough about Tinchy Stryder to know if he's considered 'good looking' with a sob story and an against all odds 'from the streets made good' image. I'm guessing probably.

I'm not sure mate. I've heard he's small though. I've never seen the wee shite. But I'll will tag him to a Neyo, Usher, Chris Brown type and will always have the word 'featuring' after his name when looking through the charts.
