.....just watching the FLS I recorded to see how we faired, and wondered how the hell Pompey have secured the services of Dave Kitson, Liam Lawrence and David Nugent. Christ, I thought they were 3 bob short of going bust. Good players those three (imo) and would be happy to see any of them with the Rovers. Funny old game innit!!

Kitson and Lawrence they got for free through the Marc Wilson to Stoke deal so they wont have needed any cash there...Although the wages can't be small. And Nugent has been there for a while now hasnt he?

Thanks for the info Chris, although I should have said, I was thinking more in terms of how Pompey can afford wages for these guys. Can't be cheap having these three to pay.

Yeah it's still crazy how they can still afford all these wages. Kitson, Lawrence, Nugent, Utaka, Kanu...Not exactly on a couple of grand a week I doubt.
