Well Byron fits the bill but hasn't played for a long time. Maybe risky to play him from the off.

Locky on the other hand will get his head under the bombs so long as you don't expect him to turn and chase.

That means JOC between Locky and Martis is the better option. This gives Dumbuya and Friend to push on and make up for the extra defender, so long as they don't get dictated to by their wide men/man.

Could be an interesting battle between Dumbuya and MacIndoe.

Be interesting to see if we go with a back 5. If both Platt and King play then it would make sense. Also if Hayter comes in who gets the chop, Shiels ?

We hopefully will have too much for them to cope with tonight and if we can take our chances then we could muller them. On the other hand if we show any nervousness at the back than that will encourage them to launch more balls in to the box.

Let us hold firm, let them run out of ideas, then carve them open at will !

Come on you Reds !!

Mmmmm. Good call actually assuming either Hird or JOC will be keeping Macca quiet (if he's playing).

Keiren Westwood
Richard Keogh
Richard Wood
Ben Turner
Martin Cranie
Aron Gunnarsson
Sammy Clingan
Lee Carsley
Daniel Ward
Marlon King
Clive Platt

The 2 Richards are donkeys. Clingan and Carsley could dominate if we let them. Big lads !!

I reckon SOD will be happy with a draw with that lineup.

My only doubt is they have forced us in to playing a game we don't like playing.

We need to stand up and be counted and use our brains !

Slack defending. Forgot about the brains bit !!

JOC out of the middle spells trouble.

Any particular reason for Dumbuya being dropped? I hope he's got a knock cos he doesn't deserve to be dropped after the last few games.

I can't see us getting anything tonight.

Really? Surely not?!

When you line up our eleven against theirs it look all one way in their favour. If King is on form then we could be on for a hammering.

Hope Im wrong though.  ;)

Well don't know about you but I'm already thinking about getting Lockwood off and JOC back in middle. Danny Ward sounds like he's got some pace.

Aint going to happen though.

Woods just missed a great chance !

Thanks, I'd wondered if SOD had had a tactical re-think once he saw how it started.

Ever get the feeling when we get near the box we take too long to get a shot off. Opposition always seem to shoot for fun at earliest opportunity.
