Stock out of Wales squad
« on October 04, 2010, 04:43:28 pm by The Red Baron »
Wales caretaker manager Brian Flynn has suffered two further withdrawals ahead of this week's Euro 2012 qualifiers with Bulgaria and Switzerland.

Blackpool defender Neal Eardley came off at half time of the Seasiders' shock 2-1 win over Liverpool.

And Doncaster midfielder Brian Stock is out with a back problem, an injury he has previously been troubled with.

Funny- I thought his back was OK now. Wonder if it flared up after Saturday's game?

Tonight's Donny Star back page headline is that Stock hopes to play for Wales despite not \"being in favour\" at Rovers.

to be honest i think its probably more a case of brian knowing what is right for him regarding how often he can play, and he probably wants to concentrate on getting back onto the donny team sheet.

I agree- initially I thought a couple of game for Wales might do him some good, but he probably realises that he'd have no chance of playing for Rovers on his return.

The Star article uses a lot of old material, so I think it was written before Stock pulled out.
